CYBERSPACE -- With the deadline for the Identity Theft Red Flags Rules Act (FACT Act) just over three weeks away, starting Nov. 1, Compliance Coach is launching a campaign to encourage RV dealerships and finance and insurance officers to get compliant now.
Compliance Coach's newly launched web-based tool is easy to use and fast. Setting up a compliance program online is much cheaper than the fines RV dealers risk incurring if they fail to follow the provisions of the new law.
"This regulation was enacted to stop identity theft," said Jason Kirshner, public relations director for Compliance Coach. "Any company that handles a consumer’s credit application or data is required to be compliant with that law by Nov 1."
Compliance and security expert Sai Huda created the wizard-driven, web-based system that allows those affected by this requirement to get compliant in a matter of hours, and stay compliant via weekly updates, for less than $1,000.
