MEMPHIS -- Memphis police have confiscated 357 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop along Interstate 40.
Officer Daniel Washington stopped a 2007 Sunseeker RV on I-40 near Airline Road about 10:30 a.m. Monday. He was assisted by Officer Chris Collins and his canine partner, Dante. During the stop the police dog indicated the presence of drugs. Officers found the RV’s cabinets stuffed with plastic-wrapped bales of marijuana. Officers found bales of marijuana stuffed inside the RV's cabinets.
Driver Robert Ragland, 41 and a resident of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested on drug charges. Ragland is currently being held at the Shelby County Criminal Justice Complex.
