TUCSON, Ariz. -- Pedata RV sees lots of motorhomes come through the service department with issues that could have easily been avoided with proper RV maintenance. And in today’s economy, taking steps to maintain your recreational vehicle can keep the number of costly repairs in the future to a minimum.
“To make our customers feel more comfortable performing some of these checks themselves, we put together a video that walks through some of the basic fluid, belt and hose checks that every RV owner should perform before, during and after a trip,” says Clint Ethington, manager at Pedata RV Center. “If you perform these steps, you will prolong the life of your RV.”
The informative How To video covers all of the tips that are in an RV manual, but physically demonstrates how to perform the checks. “We find that actually demonstrating how to check an A/C condenser or how to pull out an air filter helps those new to RV ownership.”
The RV Preventative Maintenance video teaches RV owners how to:
- Replace windshield washer fluid
- Check the brake fluid
- Check the power steering fluid
- Check the air filter
- Check the engine oil
- Check the transmission fluid
- Check the coolant
- Check the batteries
- Check the A/C condenser
