BUNNELL, Fla. -- Lorain Boylan, 56, is hurt physically and emotionally. “I’m sore. I’m sore all over and scared because she’s out and she’s crazed.”
Flagler County Sheriff deputies say 41-year-old Linda Pearce deliberately ran her over with a golf cart Tuesday at the Bulow RV Resort. “I cooked dinner for everybody that day. It was St. Patrick’s Day. I was watching the guys play horseshoes and I’m standing there like this. She (Pearce) said I’m going to run this @#$% over and I looked over and I was already under the cart. All I kept thinking was please don’t let my head get under that tire.”
Boylan says she had recently ended her friendship with Pearce. Witnesses tried getting Pearce to stop. “I don’t know what the issue was but the wack-job drove over her,” said Ron Cochran who couldn’t believe what had happened. “She said I’m going to run over that blank and proceeded to do it... right in front of everybody.”
He goes onto say that what probably kept the victim from getting severe injuries after being run over and dragged by the golf cart was her petite stature.
Boylan says she wants to seek legal action now.
